BEDROOM LAYOUT KITCHEN and GREAT ROOM
When planning for a rental house vacation, it’s important to know where everybody is going to sleep! A really good thing about Island Aerie is we provide all the bed linens, and bath towels, so you don’t have to pack and bring those along! (Some rentals require that you bring your own linens).
Island Aerie has 4 bedrooms, with the capacity to sleep 12 persons in beds.
The bedroom layout:
- First floor bedroom (Master bedroom): king bed
- Second floor bedroom: king bed
- Second floor “girls’ bunk room:”
- 2 sets of extra-long twin bunks
- Second floor “boys’ bunk room:”
- 2 sets of extra-long twin bunks, plus a twin
- PLUS: Third floor play room with twin bed
The large open kitchen has a “breakfast bar,” two sinks and an expansive work surface area to accommodate multiple cooks and extravagant homemade meals for the group. Those assigned to kitchen duty are not excluded from the fun, though, because the kitchen overlooks the dining room, living room, and front decks of the house, with a view of the lake as well.
Modern conveniences include:
- Full-sized refrigerator
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- Gas range
- Blender
- Crock-pot
- Toaster oven
- Coffee maker
- An outdoor gas grill
All the pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, and dishes that the group might need for home-cooked meals are stocked in the kitchen. Renters must bring their own food, of course, but with a richly provisioned full-service grocery store – McDonough’s Market - within walking distance of the house, buying food and beverages - even gourmet items and fine wines – on the Island is fun and easy.
